Using the Maxsurf software, the adaptability was measured through hydrodynamic and hydrostatic simulations. Subsequently, several research-worthy elements, such as Stability, Seakeeping, and Additional Resistance, were also measured using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Entropy Weighting Method. The results yielded interesting findings. The Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPVs) were found to maintain high adaptability in low-to-moderate seas, peaking slightly at 87.62% in Sea State 4 due to favourable stability conditions. However, the vessels exhibited a significant degradation as wave conditions intensified, with adaptability dropping drastically to 24.25% in Sea State 7. A robust framework for predicting operational adaptability across various sea conditions is thus recommended by integrating fuzzy logic. The creation of this framework would support tactical and procurement precision.
